All were very lovely and finished the whole meal of nicely. The grilled pineapple complimented the pork nicely. This meat just fell apart with a fork it was delish and a standout for the night. It flows onto an oversized tiled veranda, perfect for watching the city lights at night, and conveniently borders the centrally located galley kitchen with SMEG appliances that opens to the separate dining area.

This property is a solid contemporary construction, cleverly designed over 3 levels to deliver expansive views - from Cleveland Bay across to Magnetic Island over the port and the City all the way to Castle Hill - from each level and almost every room. Upon arrival the waiter was very friendly and showed us to a table outside which was lovely as there was a nice breeze. Regarding the wines, as I'm not much of a wine drinker I cant actually name them but will tell you that we both enjoyed each wine that came with the meal. For our fifth course we had 3 desserts, the maple brulee, toffee pudding and the affogato. Husband said that the lamb was perfect but wished there was a little bit more. For our first course we had the baked scallops and the buttermilk fried duck which came with peanut and chilli sambal. With over square metres of floor area, space will certainly not be a concern. All were very lovely and finished the whole meal of nicely. I did try one and it just melted in my mouth. They were also very friendly without being too over bearing. For our third course we had the slow roasted ox cheek and the wakame baked chicken. The staff were very well trained on the menu and were able to answer any questions we had. A Touch of Salt is fine dining at its best. Bedroom with walk-in-robe and ensuite, reading galley, balcony. For our fourth course we had the baked lamb scotch fillet and the ginger pork belly. There definitely is plenty of room for the whole family to spread out! Place your trust in the staff they certainly know their menu very well. Again, the sambal was the star of the dish. Before I go any further let me just say that they should bottle that sambal. I would have gladly purchased several bottles to take home. I had the octopus and it was so tender and flavoursome. I had the ox cheek which my husband begged for a taste. Both were very good.
